About The Hotel

The well-known and dynamic Shenbaga business group is the parent company of the hotel. It was started by the first generation of five entrepreneur brothers 40 years ago with the eldest Mr ShenbagaRajan leading the way.

The group grew from strength to strength; from Timber, ceramic tiles, automobiles, Hotel Annamalai International & now Shenbaga Hotel & Convention Centre. There was a long association with Johnson, Neycer, Parryware companies before moving in with the present Johnson dealership for the last twenty years.

Mr Baskaran & Mr.Rajsekaran have established the tile business as the flagship company in a short span with the distinction of being appointed as the largest Johnson dealer in the country. The vast retail expertise of the managing directors with exemplary service to the customers has catapulted the company into the number one position. Often the customers are surprised to receive the tile consignment before they reach their home!!

Hotel Shenbaga and convention centre was started by these two enterprising brothers with minute service care towards guest satisfaction. The hotel was launched on 4th January by the chief minister Mr.N. Ranagasamy. The state of the art property is new in many aspects being the largest and tallest in Puducherry. They are ably assisted by the second generation directors Mr Suresh, Mr Arun Baskaran and Mr Vimal Baskaran.
